This is an IP65 rated weatherproof enclosure with mounting ears. The dimensions are 100x68x55 mm (Length x Width x Height). This is a fairly roomy enclosure that can accomodate a circuit board, batteries, and multiple external connectors. It's ideal if you want to protect your circuit board in harsh environments and also need a large battery reservoir. We like the idea of having designs targeted at the same enclosure since enclosures can often be re-used. Cable glands are an inexpensive way to keep a field device watertight and still allow signals and power to enter and exit. This is heavy duty, dual-wall, adhesive lined heat shrink tubing. It protects against moisture and corrosion while providing electrical insulation and mechanical protection.
